OUR STORY

How we started

 

We founded our company based on a need for a local boutique bakery offering a wide variety of fresh baked cookies, specialty cakes, breads and pastries.  

 

Owner and executive pastry chef, Tiffany DiJames Thomas, grew up with a strong love of baking passed down by her mother.   After learning all she could from her and honing her self taught skills, she found herself attending a prestigious pastry school in 2006.  

 

She became an executive pastry chef earning invaluable experience in different fine dining restaurants. in 2010 with the birth of her son, she no longer wanted to spend 60+ hours in someone else's kitchen.  She put her family and her dream first and followed her heart establishing Pink Sugar Confections.  Tiffany has won multiple awards in local competitions as well as making it to final rounds of casting for Food Network.
